Property Claim Services Specialist

Eau Claire, WI

Job Summary           

To provide excellent property claims management services as required to both maintain and enhance existing business and to obtain new business, including staffing leadership support.


General Duties and Responsibilities           

• Research each contents line item on a claim and locate a like-kind-quality item for the client

• Apply and follow all content claims and Company policies and procedures

• Enter data and other relevant information into client claims database or other business applications, as required completely and accurately

• Suggest process improvements, when applicable

• Assist all departments in a courteous and professional manner to reach business goals and objectives as needed

• Participate in individual and team trainings and meetings to ensure accurate information is relayed to customers and individual performance is maximized

• Perform follow-up in accordance with Company guidelines

• Adhere to assigned work schedule

• Exhibit a professional image and behavior

• Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime if required

• Meet or exceed benchmarked metrics (metrics are subject to change as our business needs/model changes) designed to measure productivity and/or quality

• Performing onsite inventory evaluations and making inventory lists using the Lister program

• Evaluating if items have salvage potential while performing onsite inventories

• Import new claims into CES

• Perform other duties as assigned


Educational Requirements  

A high school diploma/GED or equivalent is required. One year of Property Claims Pricing Experience and five years of Internet usage/data entry experience is preferred.


General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities       

• Keyboard a minimum of 35 words per minute

• Perform and interpret basic computer commands            

• Able to handle conflict in a professional and courteous manner

• Communicate concise information verbally and electronically

• Write information that is clear and easy to understand

• Work with peers and supervisory staff for the common goals of the organization

• Reliable in meeting work commitments

• Diffuse volatile situations

• Internet savvy and functional knowledge of Windows XP, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs

• Must be a team player

• Able to be flexible and adapt to most any situation

• Creativity in the use of resources to locate the best available like-kind-quality items

• Meets or exceeds periodic skills based testing

• Regular adherence to the Attendance Policy
