First Notice of Loss (FNOL)
Our service team answers the phone with customized scripts to ensure that every call is handled professionally, skillfully and with a high sense of urgency and compassion. Team members learn the carrier’s business first, including your unique culture and needs.
Our client portfolio includes carriers with very different books of business and we create custom programs enhanced by our own dedication to creating great policyholder experiences.
We are an extension of our clients and ask the appropriate questions for a first reported loss.
Carriers tell us they want seamless transactions, so we built our proprietary software and use advanced technology to take inbound calls that your agents or adjusters would receive during your normal business hours.
We understand the many challenges associated with handling calls off-hours for serious situations and treat your policyholders with empathy.
Setting New Standards
CodeBlue contractors are selected automatically by our patented system so that the most capable and knowledgeable contractor is selected for every zip code in the U.S. CodeBlue contractors are graded monthly, depending on how they meet criteria at several stops along the process as determined by our internal active management team AND the policyholders.
Contractors are graded by:
- Response times
- Ability to utilize the latest technology
- The Science of Drying
- Adherence to industry standards
- Customer service
The Science of Drying
We educate our contractors on the Science of Drying. Using new IICRC S500 standards, approved by the American National Standards Institute in 2006, it became possible for trained practitioners to execute “The Science of Drying” to get a predictable return to pre-loss conditions as quickly as possible.
These standards specify how to use:
- Physical water removal
- Temperature control
Understanding how these standards are part of a process allows contractors to reduce unnecessary demolition, which reduces expensive replacement of costly structural materials, and collateral damage.
Claims are assigned only to the most capable IICRC water damage restoration certified contractors that have the latest technology. Contractors are pre-qualified and then actively managed on a daily basis.
Carriers are seeing that CodeBlue is:
- Delivering rapid response for optimal service and cost outcomes
- Assigning claims to independent service providers based on a performance algorithm, which is continuously updated
- Actively manage fulfillment providers to best practices and best value, based on science, technology, equipment, optimized/patented processes and a policyholder-centric experience
- Developing and nurturing premier, independent networks built around creating free market competition with a partnership attitude
